Our Trainee ACP's Bryony and Shelley can now see patients for minor ailment concerns, please complete our online triage form if you would like an appointment with Shelley.

 

Alternatively, contact a local pharmacy online about minor health concerns.

Chaplaincy Service

Here at Cambridge Avenue, we have a chaplaincy service available. 

 

Patients can speak to our in house chaplain Ewan, this is not just a religious service. Ewan is here to speak to all of our patients, he is here to listen and provide advice.

Diazepam Prescribing

Our surgery will no longer be issuing diazepam for acute symptoms of anxiety or stress, this is including but not limited to flight anxiety, dental procedures, or MRI scans.

Every Thursday, With You will be at Cambridge Avenue offering appointments to our patients who are stuggling with addiction. You must be under them to be eligible for an appointment.

NHS Cervical Screening Programme - Digital Results Launching September 2025

 
Starting from September 2025, patients may begin to be notified of negative cervical screening results via the NHS app. If the message is not read within 72 hours of sending the message, a letter will be sent to the patient as a failsafe.
 
If the result is abnormal a letter will continue to be sent for the time being.

Cervical Screening Appointments - Late night clinics

On Tuesday evenings, we will now be offering Cervical Screening appointments for our patients. 

If you require a later appointment, please mention this at the time of booking with the reception team.

 

If you are due a cervical screening appointment and have had a letter, please contact the surgery on 01724 842415 for the reception team to get you booked in.
