Cervical Screening Appointments - Late night clinics

On Tuesday evenings, we will now be offering Cervical Screening appointments for our patients. 

If you require a later appointment, please mention this at the time of booking with the reception team.

 

If you are due a cervical screening appointment and have had a letter, please contact the surgery on 01724 842415 for the reception team to get you booked in.

NLAG are now releasing a new way of managing your hospital appointments in just a couple of clicks. Your appointments will now be sent straight to your mobile phone from the number 07860 039092 (make sure to save this number in your phone!!)

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for Cambridge Avenue!

When a Total Triage form is completed by the patient, the system will pick up key words to ensure the patient is signposted to the correct service for the illness they present with.

You may be signposted to different services:

  • Pharmacy First Service
  • Dentist
  • Opticians
  • Sexual Health Clinic
  • Chiropodist

Please ensure you follow the directions on the signposting page before requesting a GP appointment at the surgery.

Total Triage

We are now using Total Triage to book our appointments, our form is now open from 7am to 4pm.

Benefits of using our online Total Triage Form:

  • Skip the queues! 
  • Don't have to get up at 8am to ring for an appointment
  • Put as much information down as possible to ensure correct triaging
  • Easy to use

Negatives of using our online Total Triage Form:

  • There simply is none!

 

You will receieve a response from our Triage Nurse within a maximum of 72 hours, however the usual turn around time is much less than this.

Please note if you request a specific clinician there may be a longer wait, our receptionists will let you know of this and offer another clinician if you are unable to wait.

If you are experiencing chest pain, breathing difficulties or vomiting blood please contact 999 or visit your local A&E.
